Projector Lamps

Projector Lamp or Projector Bulb is used in LCD / DLP Projector and Cinema Projectors. Major Projector brands like Sony, Dell, Panasonic, Hitachi, Toshiba, Barco, Christie etc don’t manufacture these projector lamps for their projectors. But instead, they have outsourced this business to OEMs like Philips, Osram, Ushio bulb manufacturing companies. Brands like Panasonic and Epson has their own types of Projector lamps which are not manufactured by Philips, Osram, Ushio, but consumers can use bulbs of the same specifications from their projectors.
Further consumers to save cost can only buy are bulb for their projectors. Since the housing / module is only used to hold the lamp and is not the lighting part of the device, they can use their old housing into a new bulb. Extreme care needs to be put while procuring the correct lamp for the Projector Model. Cheap copy lamps are easily available in the market, who with their price attract the customer, but their lamps are not long-lasting. Projector Lamps uses mercury inside them are suggested to be keep out of reach of children. Usually, Cinema Projectors like Christie / NEC / Panasonic have high wattage lamps where utmost care has to be taken. Projector lamps are super simple to install without even taking help from someone. The consumer will have to just unscrew the back panel of the projector; pull out the lamp outside. In case if you have purchased a bare lamp, you can directly start dismantling the old housing. While reinstalling back the same process needs to be followed.
